Description:
Kidzania is a 75,000sq ft mini city, built at 2/3rd scale over two storeys and is designed to teach children essential life skills such as teamwork, independence, financial literacy and confidence.
The streets are lined with over 60 real-world establishments, including a Hospital, Police Station, Fire Station, Airline, and Theatre, each offering kids to take part in more than 60 real life role-play activities. These include working in a bank, department store, fighting crime as a police officer or even piloting a commercial airliner.
James and Son carried out the design and installation of the Metsec walls and joisted mezzanine floors which formed the establishment rooms.
We also completed all drylined walls and partitions, suspended ceilings and floating acoustic baffles throughout the entire project.
